Last updated: September 18, 2026. By installing or using FireSafe ITM you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app. This is a translation of the Portuguese version; in case of conflict, the Portuguese version prevails.
1. The service
FireSafe ITM is an app for the Inspection, Testing and Maintenance (ITM) of fire protection systems, with checklists based on NFPA 25. It helps you record inspections, capture photos, generate PDF reports and schedule reminders.
2. Who provides the service
FireSafe ITM is provided by Cleiton Tolentino de Almeida, Brazil, the developer responsible for the app, who offers it under the Jonel Incêndio brand (the "Developer"). Contact: suporte@firesafeitm.com. These Terms are an agreement between you and the Developer.
3. License
We grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable and revocable license to use FireSafe ITM in accordance with these Terms. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, sublicense or rent the app, nor reverse engineer, decompile or attempt to extract its source code, except to the extent expressly permitted by law.
4. Account
You are responsible for keeping your credentials confidential and for all activity under your account. Provide accurate information and keep it up to date.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to: use the app for unlawful purposes; enter third-party data without authorization; attempt to bypass security, access data belonging to other companies or users, or interfere with the operation of the service.
6. Your content and data
You retain ownership of the data and photos you enter, and you represent that you have the right to record and store them. Personal data is handled as described in the Privacy Policy.
7. Plans, subscriptions and payments
7.1 Free use
FireSafe ITM can be used free of charge up to the number of inspections and tests shown in the app. Once that limit is reached, you must subscribe or enter a corporate access key to keep recording new inspections. Data you have already recorded remains accessible.
7.2 Subscriptions purchased through the app stores
In versions of the app that offer subscriptions, you subscribe inside the app, through the App Store (iPhone/iPad) or Google Play (Android). The following conditions apply:
- the title, duration and price of each plan are shown on the subscription screen before you confirm the purchase;
- payment is charged to your app store account at confirmation of purchase;
- the subscription renews automatically for the same period at the current price unless it is cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period;
- your account is charged for renewal within the 24 hours prior to the end of the current period;
- you can manage or cancel your subscription at any time in your app store account settings — on iPhone/iPad, under Settings > your name > Subscriptions; on Android, under Google Play > Payments & subscriptions > Subscriptions. Deleting the app does not cancel the subscription;
- if a free trial is offered, any unused portion of it is forfeited when you purchase a subscription;
- the purchase is tied to your app store account. When you reinstall the app or switch devices, use Restore Purchases to recover access.
We never receive or store your card details. Payment is processed entirely by the app store.
7.3 Corporate access key
Fire protection companies may license FireSafe ITM for use by their own inspectors under a direct contract with us. In that case, the contracting company gives its inspectors an access key, which is entered in the app and unlocks use for the term of the license. The commercial terms of this arrangement are those of the contract signed with the company.
7.4 Cancellation and refunds
Subscriptions purchased through the app stores are subject to the refund policies of the respective store, which processes the payment — refund requests must be made directly to Apple or Google. Consumers in Brazil may withdraw from the purchase within 7 (seven) days under article 49 of the Brazilian Consumer Protection Code; if the store does not honor the request, contact us at suporte@firesafeitm.com and we will assist.
8. Disclaimer of warranties and limitation of liability
The service is provided "as is". To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect damages, loss of data, or decisions made based on reports without validation by a qualified professional. Back up your data regularly. Nothing in these Terms limits rights that applicable consumer protection law grants you and that cannot be waived.
9. Termination
You may stop using the app and delete your account at any time (Profile > Privacy and Terms > Delete Account) or through firesafeitm.com/excluir-conta. Deleting your account does not automatically cancel an active subscription: cancel it in your app store as well, as described in section 7.2.
10. Apple-specific terms
The clauses in this section apply only to FireSafe ITM obtained from the App Store and used on Apple-branded products.
- 10.1 Parties. These Terms are concluded between you and the Developer only, and not with Apple Inc. ("Apple"). The Developer, not Apple, is solely responsible for FireSafe ITM and its content.
- 10.2 Scope of license. The license granted is non-transferable and limited to use of the app on any Apple-branded products that you own or control, as permitted by the Usage Rules set forth in the App Store Terms of Service.
- 10.3 Maintenance and support. The Developer is solely responsible for providing maintenance and support services. Apple has no obligation whatsoever to furnish any maintenance or support services with respect to the app.
- 10.4 Warranty. In the event of any failure of the app to conform to any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple, and Apple will refund the purchase price, if any, for the app. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Apple will have no other warranty obligation whatsoever with respect to the app, and any other claims, losses, liabilities, damages, costs or expenses attributable to any failure to conform to any warranty will be the sole responsibility of the Developer.
- 10.5 Product claims. The Developer, not Apple, is responsible for addressing any claims by you or any third party relating to the app or your possession and/or use of it, including: (i) product liability claims; (ii) any claim that the app fails to conform to any applicable legal or regulatory requirement; and (iii) claims arising under consumer protection, privacy or similar legislation.
- 10.6 Intellectual property. In the event of any third-party claim that the app or your possession and use of it infringes that third party's intellectual property rights, the Developer, not Apple, will be solely responsible for the investigation, defense, settlement and discharge of any such claim.
- 10.7 Legal compliance. You represent and warrant that (i) you are not located in a country that is subject to a U.S. Government embargo, or that has been designated by the U.S. Government as a "terrorist supporting" country; and (ii) you are not listed on any U.S. Government list of prohibited or restricted parties.
- 10.8 Third-party beneficiary. Apple and Apple's subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms, and upon your acceptance of these Terms, Apple will have the right (and will be deemed to have accepted the right) to enforce them against you as a third-party beneficiary.
- 10.9 Contact. Questions, complaints or claims about the app should be directed to suporte@firesafeitm.com.
11. Changes
We may update these Terms. Material changes will be communicated in the app or by email. Continued use after publication means you accept the current version. The date at the top shows the version in force.
12. Governing law and jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federative Republic of Brazil. Any dispute will be settled in the courts of the consumer's place of residence.
